Huge congratulations to Michael Beresford who completed the Ultra Cotswold Way Challenge in 33 degrees Celsius this Saturday, the hottest day of the year so far. Only 177 out of 448 walkers completed the hike in the stifling heat with no or limited shade during the day, with many withdrawing due to the extreme weather conditions. Michael came in goal 71st in just over 28 hours, meaning he was awake for about 37 hours straight.
Michael has also been busy fundraising and has raised an absolutely fantastic £455 for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation and The Little Art School Trust plus gift aid. It is not too late to support Michael – he really deserves it, and a massive thank you if you already have:
