For the 5th time we have a Barchester team taking part in the iconic London 10k Run on Sunday 25th July. The route is through the heart of central London, passing many of the capital’s truly world class historic landmarks.
Our runners this year are:
- Kathleen Foster, Head Chef, Corrina Lodge in Camberley
- Wojciech Kuczkowski, General Manager, Ashby House in Milton Keynes
- Iona Beckett from Norwich with a connection to the Foundation via her mother who is one of our trustees
The runners are all very excited about this challenge and are training hard ahead of the big day next week.
The runners are fundraising for Barchester's Charitable Foundation – and any donation will go towards supporting older people and other adults with a disability or mental health problems across England, Scotland and Wales. Our grants help people connect or re-connect with others in their local community, and our focus is to combat loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged.
Each runner is hoping to raise at least £100 and please follow this information to support your local runner:
Good luck to our three runners with this exciting challenge!
