The team from Ritson Lodge Care Home in Hopton-on-Sea recently presented local charity The Golden Threads Charity who support the bereaved within the Norfolk community with a cheque for £500 pounds on behalf of Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
Pamela Mauchaza General Manager at Ritson Lodge, said: “We’re really proud to present this cheque to The Golden Threads and support the wonderful work that they do. Here at Ritson Lodge we hope to continue building strong relationships with members of the Hopton-on-Sea community.”
Gloria Gee, who set up The Golden Threads, said “We’re really appreciative of the support from Barchester’s Charitable Foundation. Our charity do our best to support the isolated and vulnerable elderly in the local area with regular meets, and all donations are put towards our efforts to provide that support. Those who have suffered a recent bereavement are always welcome to pop by and join us teas, coffees and catch-ups with people who are in similar circumstances, we’re here to help.”
