Tour de Barchester 5th - 8th July
/ April 2022This year sees the exciting launch of the first ever ‘Tour de Barchester’. It is a 4-day cycle ride covering 211 miles, which will go through all four Barchester divisions, visiting 15 care homes and 1 hospital on the way.

The cycle ride starts off in South Bradford, West Yorkshire and finishes in Islington, North London at Cheverton Lodge care home. It will take place from the 5th – 8th July 2022, incidentally overlapping with the first week of the Tour de France.
The cycle ride is organised by an enthusiastic team of senior Barchester staff, who are working hard to make it a successful event, as well as fitting in the training needed to cope with the distances and many hills involved.
Tour de Barchester will not only be in aid of Barchester’s Charitable Foundation, but it is also in recognition of all the amazing people at Barchester Healthcare who have worked tirelessly in keeping their residents, patients and each other safe throughout the ongoing pandemic.
The organisers very much welcome participation or support, and this can be done in numerous ways:
