For the third time ever we have a Barchester team taking part in Great North Run on Sunday 11th September.
Our runners are:
- Alison Bradley, Activities Coordinator, Maple Leaf Lodges
- Nicki Owen, Receptionist, Crabwall Hall
- Sara Baraclough, ex-Activities and friend of Threshfield Court
- Megan Scholfield, friend of Sara and Thresfield Court
Now the world’s biggest Half Marathon, 57,000 people of all ages and abilities will be taking part in the 13.1 mile challenge from Newcastle to South Shields on the North East coast.
Our runners are all very excited about this challenge and are training hard ahead of the big day. Team Barchy is fundraising for Barchester's Charitable Foundation - a charity helping older people and adults living with a disability by offering grants to individuals and small groups/charities to help reduce isolation and loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged.
