Welcoming in the New Year
We recently awarded funding to Shirley Lions Club CIO to help fund their annual New Year party for the pensioners in Shirley.

Yorkshire & Humber Asbestos Support Group (SARAG) were pleased to receive funding from us towards the yearly Christmas lunch that they provide for their members and supporters.
Christmas Cheer
In October last year we awarded funding to St Francis Community Centre. They are an all-inclusive social hub of activity, who have served the local and wider community of Hinckley for the past 25 years.

Amazing Roisin completes her first 10k run
Novice runner Roisin Doyle, General Manager at The Dales, Draughton, took part in a sponsored 10k to raise money for Barchester’s Charitable Foundation.
Quarterly Application Windows
In 2026 we will be changing to quarterly application windows for our charity/group applications.
Getting her life back
In September this year we awarded funding to Wendy, who was diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome, a serious neurological condition that affects the lower spinal nerves.
Recycling cycles!
In July we awarded funding to Reddish Men in Sheds. They are a group of (mainly) older men who meet three afternoons each week to service and repair donated old bicycles.
Venturing out
We're delighted to have awarded funding to Paul for the purchase of a mobility scooter. Paul has Osteoarthritis and Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) which causes poor mobility. This means that he struggles to go out, resulting in isolation.
