We're delighted to have awarded funding to Paul for the purchase of a mobility scooter. Paul has Osteoarthritis and Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) which causes poor mobility. This means that he struggles to go out, resulting in isolation.
In his feedback to us, Paul said "The change to my life since I got my mobility scooter is amazing. Before, I rarely left my home, only venturing out when I could afford a taxi and being a pensioner that wasn’t very often. Now I can jump on my scooter and go anywhere. I go shopping, pop to see friends and family and it’s made such a difference to my life. I’d like to thank all concerned for giving me my life back".
